Johannes Douma joined Nadel and Gussman Ventures in 2020 as Managing Director. Johannes earned a Master of Science and a BS in Geophysics both from Colorado School of Mines where he was awarded the Mendenhall Prize and Outstanding Graduating Senior for each respective degree.

Prior to joining Nadel and Gussman, Johannes held various technical and operational roles at Casillas Petroleum Resource Partners and Cimarex Energy working Permian region, Anadarko region, and technology divisions. His responsibilities included handling day-to-day operations, screening/implementing new technologies, and managing assets through evaluation, exploration, appraisal, and successful sales process.
